La Hacienda Bakery: A Mexican Bakery with Authentic Flavors in Houston, TX

Duh saw on tiktok so was slightly skeptical buttt turned out to be sooo yummy!! everything was super fresh, and maybe I just go on good days but there is never a line and the staff were as sweet as their desserts! I have now been a couple of times to confidently recommend-not only are the seasonal items amazing and adorable they definitely put care into every item they sell there.

For October, I have already purchased Pumpkin Spice and Gourmet Pumkin Spice concha's for family and friends, at least 3 times. We all loved them. I even got some pan de muerto for a Dia De Los Muertos Ofrenda table to teach the elements of a Day of the Dead Altar. I will be back throughout the month to buy more!! They are all delicious!!

From pan Dulce, fresh tortillas, pan bolillo, custom order cakes and concha’s, La Hacienda has it all! They’ve very innovative when it comes to custom/new flavors for their sweet breads. Every month they offer something new and delicious! My favorite seasonal treat was their Dubai Chocolate treats, the concha was 10/10, the brownie was 10/10. I’m a huge fan of rebandas de mantequilla and theirs is so perfect always fresh and sweet, never stale! Treat yourself with La Hacienda!

I recently visited, I seen it was going viral and had to come. Everything was delicious, I honestly can’t say 1 bad things about the conchas and Cinnabon rolls we got! My husband in his own words said “that was the best concha he’s had” we got the rosca theme concha, peanut butter/regular cinnamon roll, and the pineapple concha. The pineapple concha was super good! We can’t wait to go back in February!

LOVE!! I’m not going to any other panaderia! SOFTEST concha’s I’ve ever had!!! Left them in my fridge for a couple of days & they did not go stale, they were still soft and so good!!!!!! You have to go early for the best experience, as they are popular and there are many customers inside. The flow of the line was good though so worth it!!!!! Everything you see in my photo was a total cost of $23, oh yeah I’m coming back!!!

Mostly every bread I got was very good. The concha’s were super soft and warmed. Only downside was the place only had one worker at the register. She didn’t look like she enjoyed being there and moved slower than an old lady.

I drove about 45 minutes to get there. I came here after seeing their reels on instagram about their Christmas inspired pastries: the Santa, green concha, and there's another red one that's filled. When I got into the bakery, they had long lines on both registers. I went around 6 pm and the displays were somewhat empty already. I spent $40. Some of the pastries are smaller than other bakeries. Like the puerquitos were so small but pretty good. The Christmas conchas are filled. The Santa one was a blueberry one. Not quite what I was expecting. Some with the green one that's filled with pistachio. I would not go back there again for the Christmas conchas. I would say this place is good if you're local to the area.
